Dude, welcome! I just joined yesterday myself. Great shot of the castle. Is this from that Roman-looking cupola you can spot way off in the distance from the castle?
Nope, I reckon you're talking about calton Hill...it's at the other side and is another great place to get a view of the castle. This is further away down in the leafy suburbs, but a great place to view the fireworks from at New Year and for the end of the festival.
