Full Moon

I think this is quite an eerie shot of Edinburgh. Early evening darkness, the full moon, the lights from the boxy New St Andrew's House, one of the few art-deco buildings in Edinburgh and Nelson's Monument and Calton Hill looming in the background.

I like it a lot...it doesn't look like a real town in the small version here. More like a model of a town! Which is kind of interesting.

The enlarged version looks fabulous! Especially the misty moon. You've must have taken this a couple of nights ago.

Your word "eerie" describes the capture perfectly.
Very cool shot!

Obviously East Coast weather has been kinder than West Coast recently.

I got here too late and the moon has gone behind an X on my computer. Maybe this is a type of Scottish cloud?
